Chengzhu Mandarin Centre, now situated in Rochester Mall, provides accompanied Chinese classes for toddlers 6 to 18 months old onwards. Start your babies on the right road to learning and enjoying Mandarin.

As it was the only place teaching Mandarin to toddlers, all my 3 kids attended their Mandarin Nest. The teachers are friendly and the classes are such fun for the kids. Chen Laoshi, the head of the Mandarin Nest programme has been teaching there since the beginning. She is a fantastic teacher and there will be 2 other teachers assisting her during each class.

There is Chinese story-telling, singing of songs, short skits which are sometimes hilarious. My kids just enjoyed themselves no end. By the time my 2 girls left the class at 18 months, they could sing the Chinese songs that were sung in the class.

Tip : The centre sells their Mandarin songs as CDs which are great to play in the car and sing along with. This reinforcement is essential to learning and mastering the language.
